Exciting Yet Terrifying

Today the first semblance of Fall seems to have arrived here in the heartlands of southern Louisiana.  This absolutely beautiful morning brings with it the excitement of a different season, new outlooks,  and a fresh start.

The overnight change in weather has  reminded me that change does come. It also serves as a reminder that its arrival totally depends on the time God would will it to come. 

It can be terrifying to know that our limited control has no real bearing on how the things of our time will play out.

We were not given control of the future....... but to be connected to and in relationships with the One who holds it,  brings me great comfort.

While we wait excited that we have a God who knew us in our mother's womb...and terrified that our stories are not prewritten by us..we will be present in and through the changes God initiates.

And be careful to give Him glory through it all.
